Under this agreement, flydubai passengers can seamlessly reach new destinations across Southeast Asia, including major cities such as Hanoi, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Osaka, and Sydney. The partnership enables travelers to benefit from a single booking process, connecting Dubai to a broader range of locations across Batik Air’s service regions.

Similarly, passengers of Batik Air will gain access to flydubai’s growing network, which spans 38 destinations across Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus, Central and Southeast Europe, the GCC, and the Middle East. This interline agreement provides travelers with increased convenience and access to a wider array of travel destinations through both carriers’ combined networks.

flydubai’s Chief Executive Officer, Ghaith Al Ghaith, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that adding Batik Air to flydubai’s network of partners will provide passengers with a smooth travel experience on a modern fleet. “We look forward to offering our passengers more opportunities to explore Southeast Asia and beyond. We remain committed to fostering trade and tourism flows, further supporting Dubai’s position as a major aviation hub,” Al Ghaith said.

Batik Air Chief Executive Officer Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy also emphasized the significance of this partnership, noting that the interline agreement is a considerable advancement in expanding travel options for both carriers’ passengers. The collaboration reflects Batik Air’s commitment to providing travelers with greater convenience and access to new destinations through partnerships that enrich travel experiences.

This interline partnership aligns with both airlines’ strategies to increase global connectivity while supporting Dubai and Kuala Lumpur’s roles as major aviation hubs in their respective regions. By connecting their networks, the airlines aim to cater to the growing demand for international travel, leveraging the strengths of each airline to enhance the passenger journey and provide competitive travel options.

The interline agreement between flydubai and Batik Air marks a milestone for both airlines as they seek to capitalize on regional travel demand and contribute to increased tourism and economic activity across their service regions.
